John Pollock is back with Wai Ting to review WWE Raw from Albany, New York.

Coming off Money in the Bank, Raw featured Mick Foley’s announcement of a new 24/7 title eligible for members of any roster with multiple title changes on the first night. Brock Lesnar appeared to tease a cash in on either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston as the show-long hook. Plus, Becky 1 Belt, another match added to Super Showdown, State of the U.S. title next week, and Cesaro gets new music.

John Pollock goes back to May 23rd, 1999, the night Owen Hart tragically passed away in Kansas City, Missouri.

In this special audio documentary, we speak to those that knew Hart and were present at the Kemper Arena that evening, as well as media members that covered the story and were around Hart in the hours before his passing.

In the coming weeks, we will release the interviews in full on the POST Wrestling Café.

The final episode before Money in the Bank featured Raw talent all over the show with the Wild Card Rule including a 4-on-3 handicap match involving Shane McMahon, the announcement of the Kabuki Warriors, Kevin Owens relied on a Raw ally against Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan made it onto the kickoff show this weekend, a fatal four-way involving the male SmackDown participants in the MITB Ladder match, and a lot of people climbing ladders.

Plus, John & Wai review the second night of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament feat. Ryusuke Taguchi vs. YOH, Will Ospreay vs. Bushi, El Phantasmo vs. Bandido, Rocky Romero vs. Robbie Eagles, and Douki vs. Ren Narita.

Monday’s episode featured a Falls Count Anywhere match between Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn for a spot in the MITB Ladder match, closing promos from Seth Rollins and AJ Styles before MITB, the Firefly Fun House took a dark turn, Miz TV featuring Roman Reigns, a double contract signing involving Becky Lynch and her opponents on Sunday, the resurrection of Nikki Cross on Raw, and “Wild Card” Apollo Crews.

NEWS OF THE DAY:

  • The WWE announces Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia with The Undertaker taking on Bill Goldberg and several other matches
  • The two discuss Saturday’s tragic passing of Silver King and the details coming out of the weekend
  • Fox holds their Upfront presentation with John Cena and Ronda Rousey representing WWE
  • AEW announces additional matches for Double or Nothing with a tag match involving the Best Friends and two new signings, plus a six-woman tag
  • A recap of the first day of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament
  • Charges against Conor McGregor over an incident with a fan have been dropped

John Pollock is solo with the UFC 237 POST Show.

Off the top, Pollock goes over the news regarding Silver King’s passing at a Lucha Libre London card on Saturday where he collapsed during his match and died.

Then, a full review of the UFC 237 card from Brazil where Jessica Andrade made an enormous comeback in her fight with Rose Namajunas to win the UFC strawweight title, Jared Cannonier took out Anderson Silva and dismissed the audience, Alexander Volkanovski improved his UFC unbeaten streak, BJ Penn continued his streak, and Viviane Araujo pulls off a remarkable feat in her fight with Talita Bernardo.

If that’s not enough, Pollock also runs through Bellator 221 with Patricio “Pitbull” Freire becoming the lightweight and featherweight champion in a disputed finish against Michael Chandler, Douglas Lima and Michael “Venom” Page met in the semi-finals of the Welterweight Grand Prix, and Jake Hager had his second pro fight from the Allstate Arena in Chicago.

Plus, Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis verbally agree to a fight, UFC’s pay-per-view schedule for the remainder of 2019, Donald Cerrone vs. Tony Ferguson next month & more.
